Spring Fashion Tips from Alana
The latest edition of Alana's fashion tips is brought to you by this lovely, but windy, weather we're having here in AZ, when some people still have to deal with snow.
1) You can never own too many Rapunzel shirts. They pair nicely with a skirt, shorts or leggings. Rapunzel rules! Go watch Tangled!
2) It doesn't matter that its spring, you can still rock Christmas tights if you have the right amount of confidence. Go ahead and pair them with green jelly sandals. You will thank me.
3) Three headbands at a time is not only fashionable, its cutting edge. I bet you'll be seeing it on all the runways. And cat earrings really showcase how big of an animal lover you are. P.S. This is number two out of three in the Rapunzel shirt collection. I'm hoping for number four soon!
4) If your butt is in need of a fresh spring breeze, let it hang out. In the privacy of your own home of course. What better time to show some crack then when playing with your Rapunzel tower?

Fashion Tips Guest Post: Ava Has Fashion Sense Too!
As stylish as Alana is, Ava is quickly catching up to her. They are neck and neck, and I'm giving Ava the advantage right now cause of her chubby cheeks. How could I say no to this face?
So Ava is stepping up to give you some of her baby fashion tips, just in time for Christmas. Enjoy.
The right shoes will dress up any outfit, even jammies! And they add that little lift to make you look taller.
Does a pattern of animals count as animal print? I say yes! And when your thighs are this sexy you never need pants, even in winter. And baby mullets are the hairstyle for Winter 2010.
Sometimes all you need is a bib and a diaper. Caution: You have to have just the right body to pull this one off!
On a cold day, knee high socks and a Minnie Mouse onesie can be substituted for pants, but only if your thighs are meaty enough to withstand the cold.

Animal prints are in! And pants are always optional.

Fashion tips from Alana
After a short hiatus from the fashion world Alana is back and better than ever.
*Four is the perfect amount of hair accessories.
*Personalized Mickey hats are the big thing for Fall 2010.
*Boots look great with pink shorts. They really look great with any shorts if you've got the right legs.
*Pink striped shirts definitely match with pink shorts. In case you were wondering. The rule is: pink matches pink.
*If the front of your shirt is wet with whatever you happen to be drinking, that really completes the outfit.

Fashion tips from Alana - Double Saturday Edition
Welcome to a double edition of fashion tips from Alana.
*Snowman pajama shorts should be considered a neutral, therefore they match with everything.
*Black mary-jane style shoes, whether they're yours or your mommy's, dress up any outfit.
*A Shrek head watch is the perfect accessory to go with wild hair and a Cinderella nightgown.
*Panties are always optional (I put her nightgown between her legs to hide the lack of undies).
*Toy Story Mania Ride Game shirt should be worn immediately after coming out of the laundry. Everyday if possible.
Happy Saturday everybody!

More fashion tips from Alana
Painting your nails two different colors is tres chic. (You can't tell from the pic, but her toenails are half blue, half orange.
Blue otter pops make your lips blue, which is so in right now.
If your mommy picks out your shirt and shorts, insist on wearing black sequined dress shoes so you can put your own individual touch on your outfit.
Combing your hair is optional. Just have your mommy put a "Jessie braid"** in it.
**Jessie from Toy Story 2.
Chicken legs are sexy. Show them off when you can.

Fashion tips from Alana
Alana's fashion tips from a typical Wednesday:
Never be afraid to support your favorite football team. Even if its May. Go Cowboys!
Plaid ballet flats go with every outfit.
Big pink flowers in your hair dress up any occasion.
Never let your mommy pick out your clothes. Her fashion sense is way different than yours.
Note to moms of kids who like to pick out their own clothes: Buy lots of neutral bottoms. Then when your stubborn kid insists on wearing a football jersey to the grocery store, their outfit won't look as bad. Still bad, just not as bad.

Alana is...
Capable of seeing in xray 3D. Even without the glasses.
A trendsetter.
What? You didn't get the memo that one clip-on earring is cool?
An expert color-er. She likes to think outside the box. Who says Tinkerbell's face can't be purple?
She is also an expert on coloring herself.
Last but not least, she's a zombie attack survivor. To the naked eye this just looks like she wrote on herself with marker. But upon closer inspection its a wound inflicted by a zombie. And she didn't even cry.

Fashion Don't
Attn: fellow sandal and flip-flop wearers and lovers.
If your heel and/or toes hang off of the edge of your shoes then the shoes are too small for you. Its unattractive. Cease and desist wearing them. Buy bigger shoes. Seriously.
