Anybody want a kid?

You sure you don't want her? I did all the heavy lifting. I have the stretch marks to prove it. She's potty trained and everything.

There is a catch though. She's a little bratty.

She will ask you why? at least one hundred times a day. Why are you eating a banana? Why are we driving? Why is it hot? Why are you wearing clothes? Why, why, why?

She has now learned to unbuckle her seat belt, which she does while driving down the road. She uses a booster seat which means she is buckled in with the seatbelt from the car, which is way easier to undo than a carseat seatbelt. Today I found myself face to face with her while driving down the road. She was standing up right behind my seat. I nearly had a heart attack.

She cannot ask for something only one time. Get me a bowl of cereal please becomes an urgent matter in 2.5 seconds. Mommy, I NEED cereal!

She tries to climb stair/ladder things at Old Navy. Then asks why she isn't allowed to.

I cannot stay mad at her, no matter how hard I try, which makes punishing her for being spawn of satan next to impossible.

On second thought, maybe I'll keep her. Get your own brat.

Awww! So I should enjoy my little one while she's still only 10 months old then?!

How old is she? She sounds JUST like my 3 year old niece. She has developed quite a bit of sass in the last few months. :-)

re: She's three. Don't listen when people say "terrible twos". They are still terrible when they're three, and they keep getting more stubborn.

When she asks why, ask her why back. :) that's what I do :)

Asking why is how they learn to converse. It doesn't mean she wants to actually know..it means she is learning how to have conversations. You might ask her what she thinks. Kinda makes you appreciate your parents who answered "because I said so"

I want her but it seems like you've already changed your mind. Alana is so adorable and amazing. You should be proud because a child/kid who always asks questions is intelligent and that means she wants to learn.

Haha great post! I think the same thing almost everyday about my girls! Very true about the terrible twos. It's more like terrible twos, threes, fours, and so on! Your girls are beautiful!!!
