Both of my ladies went to the Dr on Monday for check-ups. I didn't expect anything out of the ordinary, so I told Alana no one would hurt her.
They were both great and healthy.
Alana weighed 31 lbs and was 38 inches tall. My little chunker Ava was 18 lbs and 24 inches tall.
I hadn't realized beforehand that Alana needed two shots. I thought she was up to date. I was wrong.
As soon as the nurse said she needed two shots Alana was so mad. Me don't want shots!
I had to hold her down while they gave her one shot in each leg. My poor drama queen lady cried all the way out to the car, then finally calmed down after I gave her a sucker.
Now she insists that the Dr was nice, but dat nurse was mean. Coming from someone who cried when they weighed her, of course she's gonna cry when they give her shots.

aww shots used to be so scary!!
aww, poor girl! I still hate shots. I don't cry, but I definitely get a little shaky and pale. Your daughter is not alone :)
It's ok, I cry when I get shots too and i'm 24!!! ha ha ha
I don't cry when I get shots, just when I get weighed!
When my brother was little he would SCREAM "they poked a hole in me!" I naturally thought this was hilarious...and still do!
Ha ha.... starts early. I hate getting weighed too!
i know i already commented on this post, but i just gave you an award!
Aw, poor girl! I can also relate. I have an incredible fear of needles and still insist on getting a sucker (or cookie) after a shot.. :)
poor girl! she is so adorable by the way. everytime we go to the dr., even if its for a simple cough, my kids think they're getting shots. don't even get me started on the dentist.
my son is the exact same way. even before we reach the doc's office he's already crying.
